Changelog for Patch 1.9.0

Hello everyone!

It's been a while since we last talked! We have definitely been enjoying our "vacation" from content development. We're not quite ready to come back full speed, but we want to show our appreciation to the players that are still with us.

With this patch we are celebrating this year fall and spooky season with some new (and old) Halloween content. Additionally, we have a little surprise for our Episode One enjoyers.

Event

Halloween is back! This time with two major parts: the Sohee instance from previous years, and a new Event Egg that drops from all monsters in Midgard and beyond.

Halloween Sohee instance

The Sohee instance is an MA daily instance that you can play to get Halloween Coins. You can exchange those Halloween Coins for costumes from the previous year, or to get the Scatleton Pet and evolve it into Skalion!

Talk to the Ill Sohee in Payon Dungeon to get started, /navi pay_dun03 144/143.

Content updates

Episode One Part 3

We are also introducing the third part of the long-running Episode One story quests.

If you are new to this story, feel free to check out our Wiki: https://wiki.playragnarokzero.com/wiki/Episode_One_-_Part_One.

This third part of the story will unlock at Level 70 for any Transcendent or Kagerou/Oboro characters and should get you close to Level 99.

This part begins with more reports of missing people from Comodo and Umbala, but will quickly send you on a journey across the continent! We won't go into any further details now and we encourage you to explore this new story on your own.

One more important note on the existing Episode One quests: When you rebirth your character, your progress on Parts 1 and 2 of Episode One will be reset! This means that any new character can now do Parts 1 and 2 until Rebirth, and then do Parts 1 and 2 again, followed by Part 3.

Bug fixes

• Various bug fixes and improvements for Episode One Part 1 and 2

Other changes

• Decreased the cost of Dynite for Einbroch Modification Permits from 10 to 2
• The Biolabs daily quest NPCs now have an option to take all quests at once
