Changelogs for Patch 1.5.2

These are preview changelogs, will be released on the 7th of August 2021

This 1st of August 2021 marks a whole year since the server's official launch. It has been a thrilling experience that we have already learned a lot from; and we still got a lot of authentic kRO:Zero content that we're excited to deliver to our English audience, especially with the Transcendence (Rebirth) update now only being 2 updates away.

Today we're celeberating the past and the future with two events, both of which are suitable for veterans as well as newcomers!

Events

Booster

The booster event gives a chance to any newcomers to have the equipment and resources to catch up quickly with veteran players. For new characters and even old players wishing to return now you can claim a booster event box for up to 2 characters per master account; those boxes can be used at different levels to get potions, consumables and eventually at level 60 a full booster set, booster upgrade box, booster weapons and headgear tickets that can be exchanged for one headgear of your choice and two weapons of your choice. But keep in mind this equipment will be rented for only 2 months, so make sure to take this time to hunt and prepare for your gear to use after!

Historically, this event was released in kRO post-trans, therefore this equipment was nerfed to be somewhere between the current available mid/end game equipment and with 2 months rental period it should be more than enough for you to use it and gear up your characters for later use! Perhaps preparing for trans?

To claim the booster box for new characters, talk to Booster Staff at the poring island in the starting map at /navi int_land 51/63:

Once you talk to one of those and claim the Booster Pack you will recieve the item 'Booster Pack (1)' which can be opened immediately. From this you will keep recieving more packs that can be opened at different levels and contain the following:

Once you reach level 60 you will get a box containing Booster Equipment. Once opened, you will have Booster Power Suit, Booster Power Boots, Booster Power Manteau and Booster Power Ring Left/Right, which will be rented for 60 days.

You will also get Tickets for Headgear, Weapon and Weapon II, those can be exchanged to one headgear and two weapons of choice in Prontera at /navi prontera 164/266.

Once you reach level 75 you will get Refine Boxes for booster gear which can be used to refine all of your Booster equipment, weapons and headgear safely to +9.

Yggdrasil corruption

Current instabilities in Rune-Midgard sparked the interest of a few brave acolytes to go and investigate - what they found surprised everyone: corruption! Corruption in the roots of the Yggdrasil tree, which are affecting all the realms. Will the brave adventurers of Rune-Midgard be able to defeat this evil and save the universe?

The Yggdrasil corruption event is a World Boss fight that triggers twice a day, once it is active, players can join this fight through the NPC located in prontera at /navi prontera 160/187.

The boss fight is limited time fight, in which a few unique phases and mechanics have to be defeated in order to defeat the corruption. The fight triggers in the following schedule:

• During odd days of the month
  • 1 AM
  • 1 PM
• During even days of the month
  • 7 AM
  • 7 PM

You can join the boss fight as often as you'd like but you will be rewarded Event Coins only once a day; those coins can be exchanged for rewards in the event shop at /navi moc_para01 39/22.

Inn buffs

The inn buffs are a feature from kRO:Zero and will be permanently added to the server. Every hour there's a chance that it will trigger in a random city, once it's active the Inn staff will provide you with special buffs when you rest there.

  • Agility Up
• Outside of anniversary event
  • +5% EXP

To get the word out about all of our various anniversary events and get rewards as you do it, you can share our Facebook post: here The costume rewards take you on a reverse journey through the server's history, starting at the latest and ending at our first big event - followed by refine items and a set of exclusive costumes for everyone as the grand prize, so start sharing! All of the item rewards will be distributed at the end of the event, except for Emily (everyone's favourite NPC) who will be enabled as soon as we hit that tier.

Daily Quests and Daily Coins

Daily missions are a new custom feature for Ragnarok: Project Zero. Those daily missions can be done twice a day per master account and they change daily. Once finished, players can collect Daily coins which can be exchanged for valuable items.

The Daily Quests NPC can be found in the Eden Group at /navi moc_para01 35/36. The current available missions:
